The Transgender Studies Readers are an important academic contribution since they make a range of important and often hard to get texts available to scholars, students, and all who rely on the information contained in this compact reader in their work and lives. This second Reader is an important follow up and focuses on the latest developments in the continually expanding and diversifying field of transgender studies which is increasingly interacting not only with feminism, but also critical whiteness, post colonialism, crip studies, animal studies, and many more.
